What a fabulous weekend, now being Wednesday and still the party carries on with dining out, BBQs and lamp swinging every night. It was a reunion to remember and equal to our best. Meeting old and new friends is a highlight to me and with first class entertainment thrown in what could be better. Thank you South Australia you have done your selves proud, great venue, great company and great food.

I was training as a deck boy on the Vindi, from 01/02/54 to 09/04/54. It was a good grounding for any young lad it was tough, but we had a lot of laughs. Particularly Friday night grudge fights in the hall. Just imagine that taking place today. With our political correctness. Now as we are the fortunate ones to have lived to be old men, we have time to reflect and consider our youth.

Nice to see there is so much going on in your part of the world. I have now got the time to look back on the great Vindicatrix years and commit my memories to paper. Let me know if you would like a story and I will post it. Take care you lot! Colin
